WE GIVE WINNING VIBES TO BROKEN LIVES

While We all were preparing ourselves for wars in the hunt of occupying the chair of super-power, the crisis of life happened. Who had the idea about amid breakthrough which will spread like technology in all over the world? No one was prepared to face this type of deadly virus which made the whole world devastated. Government started putting restrictions, people got caged in their own houses.
As we all know that COVID-19 cases are rising in India and doing widespread devastation, India is going through a long lockdown and particularly migrant workers of the textile industry suffer a lot during this critical situation of a pandemic.
The coronavirus pandemic and lockdowns have created sufferings and huge problems in each and every country in the world but in countries with high levels of poverty and inequality, the impact of the pandemic has been hard and, in many ways, catastrophic. It is the fact that half of the world’s population do not have access to basic health care. Millions of migrant workers rushing back to their remote homes without money, food, and proper healthcare. These migrant workers stuck up in city slums are facing severe health problems and acute hunger. Factories, offices, and another establishment have come to a halt.

Sensitizing the problem of these poor migrant workers of the textile industry, Team of AIDER- NEXT project is working tirelessly to connect and help the vulnerable migrant home-workers and apparel labours. We have distributed Dry Ration kits, Cooked food, Anti-Bacterial chemical treated Face Mask and Sanitizers to the community with the association of NEXT Plc, The Very Group and Varner. We had many community awareness sessions about the Covid-19 in the community.

We have Distributed Dry Ration Kit, sanitizers, and face masks to 260 families of textile migrant workers in
NOIDA Region.

Migrant workers are disproportionately at risk from the impact of the pandemic due to
inadequate and crowded living conditions, lockdowns and harsh containment measures, limited access to healthcare and basic services, poor working conditions.
