Aider NGO Has organized a Free Medical Camp along with the Eye specialist Hospital at Aider kapashera branch, for the underprivileged. There were over 50 people were examined. Spectacles had also been given to the patients. The Doctors Team visited the camp on 31st October 2021, Sunday.
The specialist doctors did the eye checkup. Apart From eye checkup we even provided free BP and sugar test.
The identified beneficiaries were given a token (with number) to keep a track of the services (from registration, screening, BP test, sugar test to distribution of glasses and surgeries). After registration, Ms. Sweta (Call advisor) of The Aider Foundation had taken the patients to the waiting room and accompanied him/her to the screening room as well.
Post screening, the prescriptions for eyeglasses were collected by Ms. Damini (senior coordinator) and Ms. Sarita Pandhi (Project Manager) to ensure that all patients with refractive errors receive eye glasses. We ensure proper healthcare for all our beneficiaries. In total more than 50 patients were checked while 15 patients were given spectacles and 3 patients were selected for cataract surgery and were taken for further treatments.
Volunteers Came to help us in registration, and to ensured that the personnel’s that showed up for Eye checkup were properly sanitized.
Our team has made sure that the proper social distancing norms were set out in the premises to govern the proper flow of a save and adequately hygienic Eye camp.
Ms. Sarita Pandhi (Project Manager) and Ms. Damini Goswami (senior coordinator) Has managed the camp in a very systematic manner.
